Today we are sharing a website that we think you guys should be aware of it's called LeakedSource and it has to do with finding out if your password has been stolen and leaked into databases online - LeakedSource: Website Shows Stolen Passwords

In Leaked source you can search to find out if your username your email your information is in leaks databases that have been stolen by hackers so you can be aware that your password has been stolen.

In Leaked Source you can actually pay to see the information in these databases. It will actually show you what's in that.

Now a couple points first of all you're not paying to see if your information is in those databases that's free if you pay the extra two dollars’ example for a day pass then you can actually see all information.

So see that your email and then what password they have on record as well but if you just want to see if your information is in there that's free and also you don't have to pay to have your information remove from your database so other people can search for it so what you do is you type in your email if your emails in any entries you can have that scrub from their database.

Also it's important to know that just because it's scrubbed from their database doesn't mean that it was removed from any other database where those hackers stole it and distributed it it's just from leak source.

So this website I think it's important to know about for a couple reasons first of all I think you should go on there and search to see if your information is in there and then do the removal requests for any entries that have your email address obviously you were you are required to verify your email if it's yours then it gets scrub but also because this is a website that a lot of script kiddies use their want to be hackers that just search through databases like this they pay five dollars to be able to search through all these hack databases and look up passwords and then say that they hacked these people's accounts.

So you want to scrub your website from this database so no one can just pay to  have it as well as being able to see what information might have been stolen and it will definitely be a wake-up call because if you look at this database is like wow that's my email and password they have my visible password anyone could search that if they pay obviously you are much more likely to go through your web sites and improve your security.

And I also want to point out that this leaksource.om is not the hackers who stole the databases in the first place  they just kind of collect them and we'll let you know if you showed up in that.

Honestly I'm not really a fan of their policy of his letting anyone search the database but at least they let you remove it and if you do pay and you use it for good to see your own information it definitely is beneficial to be aware of what kind of information you've had stolen.

Some of these entries they're not just your username and password they might have your address in your name and all that sort of stuff so it's really important to know what exactly was stolen.

So that's pretty much it i definitely recommend you guys go and search your email see if it's in there have it removed as well as Have i been Pwned, that's another free website where you can monitor to see if your email shows up in any of these leaked databases.
