It's going to be kind of a public service announcement in regards to the free windows 10 upgrade that Microsoft has been offering for the past year hopefully you already knew about that.</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">But it did end in the past week you can't get it for free anymore and now costs $119 to upgrade from previous version of windows to windows 10 unless you do one specific thing.</span><br />

So if you did not upgrade yet and you want to there's still a chance.</div>

You see Microsoft is still offering Windows 10 for free to people who use assistive technology.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
These are accessibility options and features in the new windows 10 such as a better narrator ease of navigation for people who have disabilities and that sort of thing.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Microsoft has said those people are actually exempt from the deadline and can still get Windows 10 because they might need those additional features.</div>

So to get the free upgrade still you go to a special upgrade page on Microsoft's website designated for accessibility and then you click upgrade now and then at some point in the installer I guess it asks you if you will use these technologies and you either check a box or maybe doesn't even ask you at all.</div>

Whatever the case is they don't check whether or not you use these features so really anyone can just say yeah I use these features and get the upgrade still for free.</div>

It's also likely that they are pretty confident in these new features and they just want to get as many people using the operating system as possible so they won't move to any other operating system after they used to windows 10.</div>

But in any case if you're one of the people who maybe didn't upgrade because you didn't know it was not going to be for any more or something like that at least now you have an out.</div>

So see that your email and then what password they have on record as well but if you just want to see if your information is in there that's free and also you don't have to pay to have your information remove from your database so other people can search for it so what you do is you type in your email if your emails in any entries you can have that scrub from their database.</div>

Also it's important to know that just because it's scrubbed from their database doesn't mean that it was removed from any other database where those hackers stole it and distributed it it's just from leak source.</div>

So this website I think it's important to know about for a couple reasons first of all I think you should go on there and search to see if your information is in there and then do the removal requests for any entries that have your email address obviously you were you are required to verify your email if it's yours then it gets scrub but also because this is a website that a lot of script kiddies use their want to be hackers that just search through databases like this they pay five dollars to be able to search through all these hack databases and look up passwords and then say that they hacked these people's accounts.</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">So you want to scrub your website from this database so no one can just pay to  have it as well as being able to see what information might have been stolen and it will definitely be a wake-up call because if you look at this database is like wow that's my email and password they have my visible password anyone could search that if they pay obviously you are much more likely to go through your web sites and improve your security.</span><br />

And I also want to point out that this leaksource.om is not the hackers who stole the databases in the first place  they just kind of collect them and we'll let you know if you showed up in that.</div>

Honestly I'm not really a fan of their policy of his letting anyone search the database but at least they let you remove it and if you do pay and you use it for good to see your own information it definitely is beneficial to be aware of what kind of information you've had stolen.</div>

Some of these entries they're not just your username and password they might have your address in your name and all that sort of stuff so it's really important to know what exactly was stolen.</div>

So that's pretty much it i definitely recommend you guys go and search your email see if it's in there have it removed as well as <a href="https://haveibeenpwned.com/" target="_blank">Have i been Pwned</a>, that's another free website where you can monitor to see if your email shows up in any of these leaked databases.</div>
